Call of Duty 4 - The Very Best Game Ever?

It's taken us a while to get through this review but to be honest, we wanted to go through as much of the game as you can in order to give a good review of everything that Call of Duty Black Ops 2 provides. Lets have the important material from the way first, Activision was great enough to send us an evaluation copy of Call of Duty Black Ops 2. And boy oh boy, are we grateful since this game has already taken over the most of my Xbox time and has even managed to hit of Borderlands 2 as my visit game at the moment. The overall game may be the newest addition to the Call of Duty operation, and the newest from development group Treyarch.

The game takes hints from the last Black Ops and brings them in to the year 2025 in place of concentrating on previous wars, or 'modern' wars like other entries into the business. The story itself is what you are playing for the present time and this game does not let anybody down in that department, it's the most in-depth story so far.

Graphics:

Treyarch has done a lot to polish the look of this game, though there's nothing new operating behind the scenes in Black Ops 2. The character models are improved and the levels are more appealing. You really want to be in a position to go off route in these levels and discover more. The weapons are more polished and there are now skins as possible supply your weapons with for a slightly 'customized' feel, which is really a great addition but nothing on the top.

The artwork improvements are not just in the one player mode, you see the improvements within the multiplayer also. Single Player Campaign:

The tale puts you in the shoes of David Mason, the son of the protagonist Alex Mason in the first Black Ops game. Treyarch has been doing a terrific work of reaching into the potential in a way that invests you in it, rather than putting you in it. You are drawn in to the story line, the people move you in and makes you want to play through another mission so you can under stand more by what it is that got us here.

The strategy plays similarly to other Call of Duty activities, with springs between stages and events. You play through studying different points of the story through each mission and encountering different issues and enemies. An interesting twist between this game and past obligations is time; the game is set in the future but the activities that put everything in motion occurred in days gone by. Which means that you play through different acts in different times using different tools and play forms. It certainly enhances the gameplay since in 'future' tasks you've better technology and equipment for your use so you can play through differently in these missions.

Throughout your play through you still have to discover 'intel' and do little issues that don't necessarily change the outcome of the game, but you get more points for completing them and you can evaluate your play through score against your pals to see who did the very best. It is nice that Treyarch involved a stats display so you can look at that and see how many items of 'intel' you missed or other factors that you can try to accomplish throughout potential play throughs to obtain additional things, however in all honesty this is only for completionists available and does not really change your game.

Multiplayer:

Call of Duty multiplayer is either liked or hated by participants, and sometimes hated by the people who like it. It feels like coming home, but like coming home after someone has actually done some improvements across the area. Zombies:

One of the main selling points of Black Ops 2 was the return of Zombies and it does not let's down. Initially, there is some concern (at the very least from me) that would have been a lighter type of Left 4 Dead, but it's not, it is a totally different experience. The zombies get tougher with each wave, and if you do not work with your team you're definitely not likely to survive. There's also now the zombie coach, it requires you from area to area with within the chart to open different weapons. If you are not on the bus when it leaves the city, well you are set for hard times because your team-mates probably aren't stuck with you.

The weaker side of zombies despite having the newest introductions is the zombies originate from reliable spots, and you are able to do the group kill regime to rack up plenty of points. you've people within the game who are only doing the group kill level grab It can get very similar and lose its appeal especially. The most useful choice is to play with friends and make it a great romp through zombie madness and make it a closed match so you do not need to deal with this down side.

That small down side doesn't eliminate from the fun of Zombies, but it does make you long for the gameplay and challenge of Left 4 Dead, but hi, one game can not be every thing can it?

Summary:

All in all, this is the better edition of cod ghosts forum so far and actually makes you remember why you love this team. There are games out there that appeal to different types of game-play and people, but this game tells you why Call of Duty is the king of them all. The story is the most advanced, the aspects are the most sophisticated, and the game it self makes you wonder if there is anywhere that this team can go without new equipment for the builders to push.

Get, and get the year go too!
